SUPPORT WP-UNITED   (*Please!*)

Want to help improve the software? Or just want to put a smile on the developer's face? 

David A. Wheeler's 'SLOCCount' reports WP-United as having almost 6,000 lines of code (or 1.24 developer-years!). This apparently equates to a developer cost of over $168,000! Not bad for a project produced in my free time (although I do intend to reduce that number of lines of code wherever I can! :-) ).

While I might not agree 100% with SLOCcount's conclusion, suffice to say that thus far, donations from a few very kind people amount to... about...0.0006% of that estimated cost! (or, at over 1,600 downloads, about 6 US cents per download).

Just a few dollars per download would be VERY much appreciated; I have PayPal links in the admin panel, and on our site, to our 'PetPirates' PayPal account. You don't need to be a member to send money, and it only takes a few clicks.

If WP-United works for you, but you really can't spare anything, please consider helping the project in one of the following ways:


- Bug swatting -- Report any bugs you find on the forums. Anything, from typos to server crashes... let us have it!
- More Exposure -- Link back to www.wp-united.com, or post about WP-United on your blog. Want an interview? I'm available!
- Translation -- translate this file and the language strings used in the mod. I'll put your name in lights (well, pixels) if you do.
- Consider hiring me on a paid basis to help you implement WP-United, or add a custom site feature to a community site. More information on commercial support can be found at http://www.wp-united.com/support
